Spot Details

Really nice spot to kitesurf safely. Just outside of Cauville Bay there's a small sandbar island which is far enough away from the boat traffic to go kitesurfing. You have to launch a boat or kayak or jetski to get the the beach just ouside of Cauville Bay marina. Pretty beach on your right or you can keep going outside the right and you will see an island to kitesurf off of. Just park at the new Cauville bay launch ramp and it's a short drive to a nice kitesurfing spot and it has a wide open beach. Weekdays no boat traffic, weekends busy but not on the windy days. You can rent boats and jetskis or a pontoon boat and camp out on that spot as well. Winds come up late afternoon during the summer months. Wind directions are great NW, SE, SW, NE there. SE and SW winds are awesome!-
